Norwich to sign young Portsmouth striker

Championship side Norwich City are set to sign eighteen year old Portsmouth and Gambian striker Omar 'OJ' Koroma.

Norwich are awaiting clearance from the Gambian FA.

Norwich boss Glenn Roeder said that he was excited that his counterpart Harry Redknapp has agreed to allow the lively striker to go.

The player is from Gambia, that is an English speaking country, they are real related with the larger country of Senegal which of course, speaks French but Gambia I believe is basically a tiny nation, Senegal much larger. Generally, we don't see that many Gambians going into the big leagues.
