Rooney on course for comeback
Wayne Rooney in consultation with his manager Sir Alex Ferguson
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes Wayne Rooney could come into contention against West Ham on Saturday at Old Trafford.
The England striker saw out the Champions League victory over Barcelona on Tuesday night, which saw the club secure a place in the final, because of a hip injury.
Ferguson will monitor Rooney´s fitness over the next few days and said: "He may have a chance for Saturday."
