ISTANBUL, Apr 12 (SW) - The championship battle in Turkey is anything but over as Galatasatay pushed Fenerbahçe off the top spot, at least for one day.

Galatasaray, with manager Feldkamp's replacement Cevat Güler, began their match with sixth-placed Trabzonspor at two points from Fenerbahçe.

The first half at Ali Sami Yen stadium was goalless, but after the break only five minutes were needed for Arda Turan to break the deadlock.

The goal was enough for 'Gala' to earn three valuable three points and keep the pressure on Fenerbahçe.

Days after their knock-out in the Champions League, Fener will need to regain their concentration away to BB Ankaraspor on Sunday.
