ROTTERDAM, Apr 3 (SW) - Feyenoord have come to agreements with three other European teams to join them at the club's centennial tournament this year.
The idea was to host the three teams that Feyenoord beat in European Cup finals.
In 1970, Feyenoord were the first Dutch team to win the Champions Cup beating Celtic by a winning goal from Ove Kindvall.
Four years later, Tottenham Hotspur were defeated to lift the UEFA Cup, which would be repeated beating Borussia Dortmund in 2002.
The Rotterdam-based side plans to host such tournaments every year from now on. the first was held last summer, with visiting teams as Liverpool and Porto.
Feyenoord, who won their last Dutch championship in 1999, have been struggling ever since, at the domestic level.
Currently, Bert van Marwijk's side occupies the 6th spot and will need to give it their all in the coming three matches, to finish within the top five and take part in Champions League play-offs.
