Toulouse sign Elfsborg defender Jonsson

TOULOUSE, France (AFP) - Toulouse have signed Swedish defender Jon Jonsson from Elfsborg, the French club's coach Elie Baup said Friday.

The 23-year-old's signature is the third of the close season for Toulouse, who will play in the Champions League next season having finished third in the French league.

Already joined are goalkeeper Rudy Riou from Istres and forward Andre-Pierre Gignac from Lorient.
