Brazilian forward Enilton quits J-League

SAITAMA, Japan (AFP) - Brazilian forward Enilton has left the J-League first division club Omiya Ardija for personal reasons, club officials said Thursday.

The 29-year-old former Palmeiras striker, whose complete name is Enilton Menezes de Miranda, joined Omiya this season but failed to score a goal in nine games.

Enilton left Japan for Brazil on Thursday, the officials said.
