Reading snap up Danish goalkeeping prospect

LONDON (AFP) - Reading have signed highly-rated Danish goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen from AB Copenhagen for an undisclosed fee.

Andersen, 18, is the youngest goalkeeper to have played a senior game in the Danish top flight. He has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Premiership newcomers.

Director of football Nick Hammond told www.readingfc.co.uk: "He´s a really talented young goalkeeper who has great size and presence for such a young man.

"He also has an excellent attitude and work ethic so he´s got every chance of enjoying a successful career."
