PRAGUE (AFP) - Reigning Czech league champions Slovan Liberec confirmed that top flight Italian club Udinese are interested in defender Tomas Zapotocny.
"Udinese sounded us out. We are prepared to talk and are waiting for some sort of offer," Slovan Liberec´s director, Libor Kleibl, told the CTK news agency.
Twenty-six-year-old Zapotocny´s contract with the Czech club expires at the end of the season and he has not hidden his desire to play abroad.
Udinese made an offer for the Sparta Prague captain and midfielder, Tomas Sivok, the Czech club revealed on Wednesday.
