MEXICO DF, Feb 17 (SW) - Argentinian manager Cesar Luis Menotti has signed a deal with struggling Mexican team Tiburones Rojos del Veracruz.
The 67 years old, replaces Alfredo Tena who was fired after five consecutive defeats in the Mexican league.
Menotti led Argentina to their first World Cup victory, at home in 1978, and also coached the national team at the 1982 World Cup.
The manager's club career is equally impressive, with stints at Boca Juniors, River Plate, FC Barcelona and Italian side Sampdoria.
