PARIS, Feb 15 (SW) – As widely expected, Russia international striker Sergueï Semak has left French outfit Paris Saint-Germain to put pen to paper on a three-year deal with FC Moscow.

The 29-year-old forward’s Parc des Princes exit had become inevitable, as PSG boss Guy Lacombe the Russian had given up on success hopes with the French capital’s outfit, and FC Moscow had emerged as strong favourites to land his services, having issued an estimated €3m offer for the striker.

Today, Semak’s move to FC Moscow was confirmed, and the player is now set to make his PSG farewell before joining his new side in Valencia, at the Russian outfit’s training camp.

Semak had been playing for PSG since January 2005, his Parisian adventure having started as a 6-month loan spell from CSKA Moscow back then.
