EIDHI, Apr 18 (SW) – EB Streymur have amazed the Faroe women’s scene by winning their match against B36 Torshavn. B36, together with KI Klaksvik one of the big two women’s clubs in the Faroe Islands, miss some routine players. But even then a loss in mostly windy Eidhi is a surprise.

When the match started, there was pressure on both sides, no team was better than the other. After 26 minutes in the second half Rakul Magnussen scored the 1-0. A minute or two later B36 got a penalty, which was converted by Eyðfríð Kristiansen, 1-1. Anna Abelsen made it 2-1. B36 started to push the EB Streymur players further back. Many goal changes didn't result in a goal. So the surprise win in Eidhi was a fact.
