OSLO/ZENICA/FRANKFURT, Sep 6 (SW) - Norway defeated Moldova 2-0 on Wednesday to take the lead in Group C, while Hungary won in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Turkey beat Malta.

Norway - Moldova 2-0
After winning their first match on Saturday, Norway also won their second against Moldova in Oslo.

The Scandinavians needed until the 74th minute to finally break the deadlock through Fredrik Stromstad, and Steffen Iversen added a second five minutes later.

The guests had been playing with only ten men since the start of the second half, when a red card was given to Viktor Berko.

Bosnia H. - Hungary 1-3
Bosnia Herzegovina suffered a 1-3 defeat by Hungary. Szabolcs Huszti opened the score for the visitors in the 36th minute, and Zoltan Gera and Pal Dardai added goals in the second half.

Zvjezdan Misimovic got one back for the Bosnians in the 63rd minute, but it was not enough for the home side, who had been without the red-carded Emir Spahic since the 39th minute.

Turkey - Malta 2-0
Turkey were having troubles against Group C minnows Malta in the first half, but did take the lead through Nihat Kahveci in the 56th minute. Tumer Metin netted the second in the 77th minute.
