Tabloid: "Adu to Reading in Winter"

READING, WASHINGTON DC, Sep 27 (Sw) - The Sun tabloid wrote on Wednesday that American starlet Freddy Adu will sign for Premiership newboys Reading in January. He will first be loaned from DC United for half a year, after which he will be sold for 7.5 Million Euros.

Adu was once one of the most coveted young stars in the world, making his MLS debut as a 14-year-old. Now 17, he has indicted he wants to start in Europe at a 'relatively small club'.

The midfielder has attracted the attention of Chelsea, Manchester United and PSV in the past.
