MARSEILLE, Sep 14 (SW) - The four French teams in the UEFA Cup were everything but productive in their first round matches on Thursday, as Marseille and Auxerre won by one goal while Lens and PSG were held to scoreless draws.

Marseille - Boleslav 1-0
Olympique de Marseille hosted Czech side Boleslav, and scored only once, through Habib Bamogo. The guests lost Frantisek Sevinsky to a red card in the 79th minute.

Ethnikos Achnas - Lens 0-0
No goals were scored at Ethnikos Achnas against Lens on Cyprus, where the French had Seydou Keita sent off with a red card in the 73rd minute.

Derry City - Paris Saint-Germain 0-0
No goals were scored in Ireland, where Derry City hosted Paris Saint-Germain. For the French, the lack of away goals could prove to be fatal in the return leg.

Dinamo Zagreb - Auxerre 1-2
Ireneusz Jelen put Auxerre in the lead when 42 minutes had been played in Zagreb, but Eduardo Da Silva equalised in the 68th minute. The winning goal however, came from Auxerre's Daniel Gheorghe Niculae in the 72nd minute.
