Brazilian joins Omiya Ardija

SAITAMA CITY, Sept 8 (SW) – Officials of the J-League first division side, Omiya Ardija, have announced that the twenty four year old Brazilian Alison Barros Moraes has joined the club on a four month contract.

Moraes spent five years playing in the Korean league where he scored thirty four goals in that time. Last year he returned to his native Brazil where he played for Brazil’s Serie B side Marilia scoring eight goals.

Newly – promoted Omiya Ardija are currently in eighth place in the eighteen team league.

They are coached by Toshiya Miura and their stadium, Omiya Stadium has a capacity of 12 500.
