LONDON, Sep 3 (SW) - It appears to be unlikely that Real Madrid striker Ronaldo will ever play for the Brazilian national team again, after a disappointing performance at the World Cup this year.
Brazilian media report that coach Dunga and other managers discussed the matter in London on Saturday, and decided that the 2002 World Cup hero would not play for the Seleçao again.
Ronaldo's position in the team has been uncertain after the player had openly critisized teammates as Kaká, Ronaldinho and Adriano, blaming them for Brazil's elimination by France at the World Cup.
The forward was not selected for Brazil's friendly match with Argentina, which is played in London on Sunday.
