SAO PAULO, Sep 15 (SW) - Argentinian side Boca Juniors have won the Recopa Sudamericana, the South American Super Cup, beating Sao Paulo 4-3 on aggregate.

The first match had been won 2-1 and in the second, the Brazilians could not get any further than a 2-2 draw.

Boca's goals came from Rodrigo Palacio in the 35th minute and Martin Palermo in the 75th.

The trophy can also be considered a farewell gift to Alfio Basile, who will now move on to coach the Arentinian national team.
