PODGORICA, 30 Oct (Sw) - Europe's latest addition to the international soccer scene eye former Boavista manager Petrovic as their first ever manager.
Montenegro has its own association ever since the country split from Serbia last summer. Their first target will be the qualification for the World Cup of 2010. Euro 2008 will come too close for them.
Born Montenegrin Zeljko Petrovic quit Boavista last week after a mere 2-month spell there. He was active in the Netherlands before his Portugese adventure, first playing for PSV and RKC and later as an assistant at RKC and Feyenoord.
