LONDON, Oct 22 (SW) – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has come out in support of video technology being utilised in football.

Speaking on BBC Radio’s Sportsweek he said that he thought that it was now necessary for referees to refer to the match referee for clarification on certain decisions.

Still feeling bitter about the Thierry Henry ‘handball’ against CSKA Moscow in the UEFA Champions League during the week, he said that referrals will help to keep the honesty and integrity within football.

He added that there is an urgent need for it in the game.

Wenger believes that would help preserve the honesty and integrity of football.
