MEXICO DF, Nov 23 (SW) - Mexican side Pachuca earned themselves a spot in the final of the Copa Sudamericana, beating Brazilian side Atletico Paranaense 5-1 on aggregate.
Pachuca had already won the first leg in Curitiba, Brazil 0-1 and easily beat their opponents 4-1 in the return leg. Goals were scored by Christian Gimenez (2), Juan Carlos Castro and Damian Alvarez.
In the final, the Mexicans face Colo Colo from Chile, who beat Toluca 4-1 on aggregate in the other semi final.
Pachuca is the second Mexican team to reach the final, after Pumas UNAM's loss against Boca Juniors last season. Colo Colo is the first Chilean team to appear in the Copa Sudamericana final
