Buffon sent off in Serie B clash

BERGAMO, Nov 19 (SW) – Italian and Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon was sent off in Saturday’s Serie B clash against AlbinoLeffe.

The match played at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia ended 1 – 1.

Buffon tripped striker Ruben Garlini in the penalty box.

Brazilian striker Inacio Joelson netted from the spot.

Raffaele Palladion equalized for Juventus shortly after the break.

The draw left Juventus in the revised Serie B one point behind joint leaders Napoli and Piacenza.
