Six match ban for Namibia captain

WINDHOEK, Nov 14 (SW) – A six-match ban has been given to Namibia striker Henrico Botes after he spat at another player.

Namibia’s captain was sent off during the Nations Cup qualifier against Ethiopia and will not feature in any other games for his country’s remaining qualifying campaign.

If Namibia qualify for the 2008 African Nations Cup finals then Botes will miss the first two games of the tournament.
