MADRID, Nov 12 (SW) - Ruud van Nistelrooy put on a clinic on Sunday as he scored all four Real Madrid goals in their 4-1 victory away to Osasuna at El Sadar.
The Dutch striker, who joined from Manchester United over the summer, opened the scoring in the 11th minute when he pounced on a rebound after Ricardo spilled a shot by Robinho.
Just 15 mintes later, van Nistelrooy doubled the lead after Robinho lost the ball right into the path of his fellow forward, and the Dutchman made no mistake in dispatching the shot into the goal.
Van Nistelrooy then completed his hat-trick just before the interval by taking a pass from Raúl and hitting a superb effort just inside the post for a 3-0 lead.
Osasuna pulled a goal back in the 64th minute when Valdo beat a lax Madrid defense to head past Iker Casillas, but van Nistelrooy would grab his fourth six minutes from time after slotting home from Emerson's through-ball.
