LYON, Nov 1 (SW) - Olympique Lyon are pondering to recall on-loan Nilmar from Corinthians to soften the striker troubles caused by injuries.

The French giants lost striker Fred to injury two weeks ago, with John Carew being the only player now to fill in the vacancy.

Nilmar was loaned to Corinthians in 2005 because Lyon had too many non-EU players in their squad. That problem has disappeared since defender Claudio Cacapa has obtained the French nationality.

The striker did not stay unnoticed in his native Brazil, where he scored 31 goals in 55 appearances.
