Ferguson confident

MANCHESTER, Nov 1 (SW) – Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes that his team can conquer Europe again this season.

He said that one of the biggest disappointments in his nearly twenty years at the helm of United is the fact that he has only won the Champions League once.

He feels that the coveted trophy should have been won on at least two other occasions.

Sir Alex added that their form thus far in the Champions League has lifted their chances considerably as potential winners for 2006/7.

He is confident ahead of tonight’s encounter against FC Copenhagen, even with a number of key players expected to be missing through injury.
