LONDON, Nov 11 (SW) - Didier Drogba scored three times and Andriy Shevchenko added another as champions Chelsea rolled to a 4-0 victory over Watford at Stamford Bridge.

After dominating the opening phase of the game, Chelsea finally took the lead in the 27th minute when the Ivorian tucked the ball home after Geremi sent in a wonderful cross from the flank.

A one-two between Drogba and Shevchenko seven minutes later allowed the former to slot easily past Ben Foster, extending the lead to 2-0 and essentially putting it out of reach for the visiting Hornets.

It was more of the same in the second half with Shevchenko putting the home side up three goals after Drogba returned the earlier favor with a nicely-placed through-ball, and Drogba wrapped up his hat-trick later on when he turned in another Geremi cross.
