ZAGREB, July 19 (SW) - Germany international Jens Nowotny has signed a three-year deal with Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb, the Croatian club announced on Wednesday.
"I can only say that my team has been considerably reinforced now," Dinamo coach Josip Kuze said.
The 32-year-old central defender who has 47 caps to his name had been released from his contract with Bayer Leverkusen at the end of last season.
The Croatian daily newspaper Jutarnji List reported that the contract was worth "at least three million euros".
Dinamo open their UEFA Champions League campaign in the second qualifying round against FK Ekranas of Lithuania.
