Inter sign brand new trio

MILAN, Jul 12 (SW) - Preparing for the start of the new Serie A season, Inter Milan signed three new players on Wednesday - midfielder Olivier Dacourt and defenders Maxwell and Maicon.

Dacourt joins the Nerazzurri on a free transfer from Serie A rivals AS Roma and the 31-year-old signed a two-year contract upon his arrival at the San Siro. The Former French international has played professionally in France and England.

Brazilian defenders Maxwell and Maicon both agreed to long-term contracts with the club, Maxwell signing for four years and Maicon joining on for the next five seasons.

Maxwell was a revelation while playing full-back for Ajax and played last season for Serie A newcomers Empoli, while countryman Maicon joins Inter from principality side Monaco in Ligue 1.
