Celtic close in on Hungarian winger
GLASGOW, Jan 16 (SW) – Celtic are looking to sign Hungarian winger Peter Halmosi from Debrecen.
The 26-year-old is scheduled to fly into Glasgow and has revealed to Hungarian media sources that he means business with The Bhoys.
“I want to emphasise that it's not a trial, I will attend a medical examination and a physical test," Halmosi told Hungarian website NB1.
"When my agents were speaking with me about the possibility, I couldn't even understand immediately how big an opportunity it is.
"I like taking risks so of course I decided to go and try.
"I don't think that I'm pompous but I consider myself good enough to meet the requirements at a team like Celtic."
The player has been linked with Everton in the past but looks set to sign for the Scottish Premier League leaders.
