BOLTON, Dec 7 (SW) – Bolton Wanderers are looking into the possibility of reinforcing their squad with the signing of Slovenian international Branko Ilic.
The Trotters are in negotiations with Ilic’s club Domzale about the possibility of a January move, with the player already having visited the club in the last few weeks. "I was in England for three days,” confirmed Ilic. "I had some medical tests. I trained with the first team and played a game for the reserves. "I also met Sam Allardyce and watched the game against Chelsea. "I'm very thrilled and I hope this transfer will go through. "It would be a dream come true for me, but now the clubs have to agree about the transfer fee. "I hope everything will work out well." Ilic is a versatile defender who would prove a useful addition to the Bolton squad. |
