CS Sfaxien coach quits
SFAX, Dec 26 (SW) - Mrad Mahjoub has quit Tunisian club CS Sfaxien and the African Champions League finalists are now searching for a new coach.
Sfaxien currently occupy fifth position in the league, seven points behind the leaders and it is thought Mahjoub has taken the decision to part company with the 2005 league champions because he believes squad unity has been affected.
The club’s chairman has recently left and several players have not been paid over the past few months.
"As of now my function as team head coach ceases to exist because I'd like to give the new board the freedom to work with the coach they themselves choose," stated Mahjoub.
