LONDON, Dec 19 (SW) – Barely four days after he was fined £10,000 for improper conduct by the FA, Arsenal’s manager appears to have landed himself in hot water once again.
The latest incident stems from the exchange of words in the tunnel of the Emirates Stadium at half time of their Premiership match against Portsmouth with referee Steve Bennett and his assistants.
Wenger disputed a free kick shortly before half time that was awarded to Portsmouth.
The resultant free kick resulted in a goal for Portsmouth.
Wenger argued that the free kick should have been awarded to Arsenal instead.
He was sent to the stands for the second half.
The Arsenal manager has until the 5th of January to appeal against the charge.
