TOKYO, Dec 13 (Sw) - Internacional has reached the final of the Club World Championship after beating Egypt's Al-Ahly 1-2. the Brazilians will now face either Barcelona or Mexico's America.

Alexandre Pato opened the score for the Brazilians, with 17-year-old wonderkid striking in the 23rd minute. Angolan striker Flavio equalised in the second half with a header.

Thing began to look worse for Internacional, when Pato was taken off with injury 20 minutes into the second half and replaced by Luiz Adriano.

As if fate wanted it, it was Luiz Adriano who sealed the winner with a headed-in corner on 72 minutes.

"Brazil is the most advanced footballing country in the world," Ahly coach Jose Manuel told Reuters after the match. "You can't compare Brazilian football and Egyptian football.

"We showed character but we were a bit tactically naive."
