TUNIS, Dec 3 (SW) – The African Confederation Cup Final second leg between Etoile Sahel of Tunisia and the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco ended in turmoil on Saturday.
After the Royal Armed Forces team were denied a late goal for offside that would have won them the trophy, the angry players then attacked South African referee David Bennett and his assistant referees.
Etoile Sahel, runners-up in the African Champions League in 2004 and 2005, won on away goals after drawing the first leg 1-1 in Rabat last month.
