MARSEILLE, Dec 6 (SW) – French striker Djibril Cisse’s rehabilitation continued last night.

He scored his first goal since the horrific leg fracture in June that kept him out of the French World Cup squad for this year’s World Cup in Germany.

Cisse was playing for his club in a friendly against an amateur side Martigues.

The striker, who is in loan from Liverpool until the end of the season, will undergo further tests conducted by the surgeon Professor Frederic Farizon, the man who performed the operation six months ago.

Monaco visit Marseille on Saturday and Cisse could make his first Ligue 1 appearance of the season.
