MANCHESTER, Dec 5 (SW) – Manchester City maintained their unbeaten home record with a goalless draw against lowly Watford last night.

Hero for Watford was second – string goalkeeper Richard Lee who kept City at bay with a number of superb saves.

Watford came close early on when Damien Francis’ header was saved on the line by Nicky Weaver.

Watford had a number of chances in the first half, the best being when Danny Shittu’s header hit the crossbar.

It was Lee who stole the show in the second half when he first of all had to punch away a Joey Barton in – swinging free kick and then hold onto a fierce Georgios Samaras shot.

With five minutes remaining City must have felt that they had bagged all three points when Bernardo Corradi shot from within the box, but were once again denied by another fantastic Lee save.
