Vieri approaches Juve

TURIN, Aug 22 (SW) – Reports in the Italian media have suggested that prolific marksman Christian Vieri is seeking to move back to Juventus.

The out of contract forward cancelled his agreement with Sampdoria by mutual consent two weeks ago, with serious questions raised as to the 33-year-old’s future in the game.

However, reports claim that Vieri wants to meet with Juventus Sporting Director Alessio Secco over the possibility of returning to the Bianconeri, despite the club’s Serie B status.

Whilst Secco is likely to meet with the powerful forward, he can make no guarantees of offering Vieri a contract.
