Lyon linked with Juve duo
LYON, Aug 22 (SW) – French powerhouse Lyon are believed to again be circling for Juventus duo David Trezeguet and Mauro Camoranesi.
The pair have been targeted by the French champions as valuable additions to an already formidable squad, with Camoranesi’s proposed move to France blocked at the last minute by Juventus officials earlier in the summer.
Following the club’s agreement to sell Mali international Mahamadou Diarra to Real Madrid, cashed up Lyon patron Jean Michel Aulas is ready to make an improved offer and wants to include French forward Trezeguet as part of the deal.
Juventus officials have stated on numerous occasions that they will not be selling any more players after the departure of Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Inter Milan, however Aulas is hoping that a huge money bid may force them to think again.
