LONDON/AIX-EN-PROVENCE, Aug 15 (CP) - In their first match after reaching the quarter finals at the recent World Cup, Ghana defeated Togo 2-0.

Ghana - Togo 2-0

The two faced each other for a charity meeting in the British capital, London. Ghana, who were the only African nation to get through the group phase and even win their second round match at the World Cup in June and July, were the stronger side and achieved a 2-0 victory over Togo.

Algeria - Gabon 0-2

Moubamba opened the score for Gabon after having played 66 minutes in the French town Aix-en-Provence. His side scored another goal, two minutes later.

Algeria finished with only ten men on the pitch due to a red card for Mohamed Brahami in the 77th minute.
