MONACO, Aug 4 (SW) – Former Valencia striker Marco Di Vaio has signed a 2-year deal with Monaco.

The player is therefore ready to continue with the Principality club after initially joining on a 6-month loan back in January.

The Italian was part of a double swoop for the Ligue 1 side at the turn of the year, with Christian Vieri also signing short-term.

However, Di Vaio has refused other offers in Italy, Spain and France and will instead remain with Monaco for the next two campaigns.
