ARNHEM, Apr 9 (SW) - FC Utrecht cannot be certain of participating in the Dutch play-offs for a Champions League spot following a 1-0 defeat at Vitesse.

PSV Eindhoven held Groningen to a draw and won their 19th national championship. Main competitors AZ Alkmaar suffered a defeat at Ajax. More about these matches and the championship here.

Friday:

SC Heerenveen - Feyenoord 1-1

Feyenoord needed a win to stay in touch with second-placed AZ, but allowed Niklas Tarvajuri to put the hosts in the lead after 49 minutes. Pierre van Hooijdonk did equalize in the 79th, but Erwin Koeman's men could not score another.

Saturday:

NAC Breda - NEC Nijmegen 2-1

Less than a minute had been played when Said Boutahar opened the score for NEC, but NAC came back from behind with goals from Anouar Diba and Leonardo in the 15th and 55th minutes.

RKC Waalwijk - Heracles Almelo 0-2

Heracles Almelo travelled to Waalwijk, where Kwame Quansah broke the deadlock after 54 minutes. Gert Jan Tamerus added a second in the 77th minute, for a convincing 0-2 victory.

Sparta - RBC Roosendaal 5-0

Sparta, 16th in the Eredivisie, had a comfortable win over last-placed RBC. Marvin Emnes put the hosts ahead in the 33rd minute, and Ivan Cvetkov netted the second in the 46th.

On the hour mark, a third came from Yuri Rose and Jason Oost scored twice, from the penalty spot in the 68th minute and a regular goal in the 84th, to set the score to 5-0.

Sunday:

Vitesse - FC Utrecht 1-0

Thirteen minutes had been player in Arnhem when a goal from Mads Junker put Vitesse in the lead. Utrecht failed to use the remaining time to level the score and cannot be certain of maintaining their fourth place yet.

FC Twente - ADO Den Haag 2-0

Twente needed until the 71st minute to open the score through Sharbel Touma, and Blaise N'Kufo added a second in the 84th.

Willem II - Roda JC 2-2

Iwan Redan's 6th-minute goal was cancelled out by Roda's Cristiano in the 19th, but Arvid Smit restored Willem II's lead in the 40th minute.

Roda spent a large part of the match with only ten players on the pitch due to Gregoor van Dijk's red card in the 28th minute, but did manage to equalize again through Humphrey Rudge in the 65th minute.
