Sagnol set for Bayern exit

MUNICH, Sept 27 (SW) – According to sports newspaper ‘L’Equipe’, French international defender Willy Sagnol will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
Although the French player and his club had allegedly appeared to agree on a four-year contract extension a few weeks ago, it now seems the deal would have fallen through, with Sagnol set to make his Arena exit.
The former Saint-Etienne and Monaco player, who made his Bundesliga debut with Bayern in 2000, is now likely to come clear on his future with the German champions either on Wednesday or Tuesday night, following his side’s Champions League game against Brugge.
