Kaka: ‘Milan can triumph in Champions League’

MILAN, Aug 12 (SW) - AC Milan midfield sensation Kaka has declared his belief that the Rossoneri can go one step better this season by winning the UEFA Champions League.
“I feel that this year we shall win the Champions League,” said the Brazilian.
When questioned on what impact last season’s final may have on the team, the player dismissed any possibility of a negative effect, but did admit that Liverpool’s triumph had left him speechless.
“What happened in Istanbul was incredible. No one could believe it. During the prize ceremony I was next to Costacurta and Maldini, two men who had already seen everything in football. It was really something unexplainable.”
