WC Qualifiers: No changes in Group 7 as S&M and Spain win

VILNIUS/BRUSSELS/ZENICA, Oct 8 (SW) - Serbia & Montenegro maintained their lead in Group 7 of the World Cup qualifiers, while Spain defeated Belgium to stay in second place.

Lithuania - Serbia & Montenegro 0-2

The group leaders needed 43 minutes to open the score through Mateja Kezman, and Zvonimir Vukic doubled the lead with two minutes left to play in regular time. Serbia & Montenegro maintain their lead, with 19 points from nine games.

Belgium - Spain 0-2

Spain are still second, following a 0-2 win in Belgium. Both goals came from Atletico Madrid player Fernando Torres, who hit the net in the 55th and 58th minutes.

Bosnia Herzegovina - San Marino 3-0

Bosnia Herzegovina are third, at just one point from Spain. Against San Marino, all three goals came from the same player, as Elvir Bolic scored in the 47th, 74th and 85th minutes.
