BOLTON, July 15 (SW) – Pachuca and Mexico international striker Jared Borgetti has agreed to complete a £900,000 move to EPL outfit Bolton Wanderers.
The 31-year-old experienced forward, who is currently on international duty with the Mexican national team in the Gold Cup, is now set to be unveiled by the Trotters as soon as the international competition is over.
The Mexican player, who finished last month’s Confederation Cup in Germany with a very decent fourth best striker spot, will now be moving to England despite initial thoughts Borgetti was about to move to Saudi Arabia and sign for Al-Ittihad.
"I can confirm that Borgetti will be sold to Bolton. The clubs have reached an agreement. Pachuca will receive more than £900,000. The only thing remaining is the player to end his participation with the national team at the Gold Cup. Then he will travel to England to sign his contract,” confirmed Pachuca president Jesus Martinez Patino.
