LENS, June 19 (SW) – Racing Club de Lens have landed Le Mans striker Daniel Cousin on a four-year deal.
Libreville-born Daniel Cousin had expressed his hopes of signing for RC Lens after Le Mans were relegated to France’s Ligue 2, having spent only one season in the French top flight.
An agreement has allegedly been found last Friday between Le Mans and Lens as Cousin is now expected in the Felix Bollaert stadium in the coming days, where he should undergo a medical. The influential striker should be signing a 4-year contract with the ‘Sang & Or’.
27-year-old Cousin, who played for Martigues and Niort, will now complete his move to Lens after spending 4 terms with Le Mans.
