Pardew will have to find a resolution quickly to maintain their top-flight status.
Jurgen Klopp's men were edged out of the top four by Burnley following their win over Stoke on Tuesday. However, the Reds can regain their footing in the Champions League places with a victory this evening.
Liverpool will be desperate to bounce back from their frustrating result against Everton in the Merseyside derby last week. The Reds dominated the contest, but could not kill off the game after taking the lead through Mohamed Salah's opener. It allowed Wayne Rooney to level from a controversial penalty late in the match to earn the Toffees a share of the spoils.

HALF-TIME: LIVERPOOL 0-0 WEST BROM
Concerns for Jurgen Klopp at the break as Liverpool are on course to drop points for the second match on the bounce at home. West Brom have been solid for the majority of the half, with the Reds missing one clear-cut opening as Roberto Firmino placed his strike wide of the post from Mohamed Salah's cross. Alan Pardew will be pleased with his side's effort, but the home side may come out firing in the second half.
FULL-TIME: LIVERPOOL 0-0 WEST BROM
Further frustration for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp as the Reds drop another two points at home. They were held by a stoic West Brom outfit, who did not give them an inch in the final third for the majority of the contest. Roberto Firmino missed an opening in the first half, while Jonny Evans was in the right place in the right time twice in the second half to clear off the line. Dominic Solanke had a goal disallowed for handball, but at the other end the Baggies had their opportunities through Ahmed Hegazi, Salomon Rondon and Grzegorz Krychowiak, hitting the woowork twice. They were good value for their point this evening.
Thanks for joining our commentary. Until next time, goodbye.
