The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Swansea have rebounded in form in the last two weeks by defeating Stoke and taking a point from their trip to Old Trafford after a six-match winless run put them in deep trouble. They will know a victory this evening would be huge with Sunderland to play on the road next week.
Everton will not have given up on a top-six finish this term, but need to put themselves ahead of Arsenal, who will have three games in hand on the Toffees after today. Ronald Koeman's men were brushed aside by Chelsea last week and he will be eager to see a response today.
The Swans have been handed a huge boost today in their battle against the drop, with Sunderland defeating Hull City 2-0 at the KCOM Stadium. A victory for Paul Clement's men will put them above the Tigers in the table and out of the relegation zone.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Swansea City and Everton at the Liberty Stadium.
SWANSEA CITY (4-3-1-2): Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson; Ki, Briton, Carroll; Sigurdsson; Llorente, Ayew.
Swansea have made one change from their draw against United last time out. Stephen Kingsley drops out of the side and on to the bench, with Martin Olsson replacing him at left-back. Jordan Ayew and Fernando Llorente continue to lead the line, with Gylfi Sigurdsson playing in just behind.
Everton have made two change from their defeat to Chelsea at Goodison Park. Gareth Barry and Kevin Mirallas get the nod to start this afternoon, while Ross Barkley and Enner Valencia drop to the bench. Ashley Williams makes his first return to Liberty Stadium after leaving the Swans for the Toffees last summer.
STAT ATTACK! Swansea have won only one of their last 11 matches against Everton in the Premier League. However, they are unbeaten in their last five games against the Toffees, including their 1-1 draw at Goodison Park earlier in the season.
The match between the two sides earlier in the campaign could loom large in the relegation battle. Seamus Coleman scored at the death to earn Everton a point, robbing the Swans of two points - that would currently see them out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
HALF-TIME: SWANSEA 1-0 EVERTON
As it stands Swansea are heading out of the relegation zone thanks to Fernando Llorente's strike in the 29th minute. Both sides struggled for quality in the first half, but Jordan Ayew produced an excellent cross to the back post to allow the Spaniard to nod home, with the aid of his shoulder.
Everton have been below-par and have failed to threaten Lukasz Fabianski in the home side's net. Romelu Lukaku has cut an isolated figure leading the line and Ronald Koeman will be urging his side to get the Belgian more involved in the action after the break.
The players are back out on the pitch, so we should be back underway shortly.
FULL-TIME: SWANSEA 1-0 EVERTON
WHAT A RESULT FOR SWANSEA! The Swans climb out of the bottom three with their victory this evening. Fernando Llorente's goal is enough to lift them above Hull in the table and out of the relegation zone, with two games left to play.
Swansea now face a crucial game at Sunderland next week, with Crystal Palace and Hull City facing off next Sunday. A victory over the Black Cats could see them sit four points above the Tigers before they kick-off at Selhurst Park - that would be huge for the Welsh outfit's survival hopes.
Everton were well below-par this evening and could not find a way to break through the Swansea backline led by an outstanding performance from Alfie Mawson. As a result, Ronald Koeman's men are now very unlikely to finish above seventh place.
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
