McArthur battles well with Jenkinson on the left flank deep inside the West Ham half of the pitch, and, as a result, he earns himself a throw-in that buys them much-needed time as they look to run the clock down.
90' +2
Downing cuts inside from the right flank before threading a lovely through ball into the path of Kouyate, but the Senegalese midfielder's first touch is poor and ends up sending the ball out of play for a goal kick.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be five minutes of added time.
89'
Kouyate breaks into the Palace penalty area before seemingly being brought down in front of goal, but, despite some half-hearted pleas from the hosts, the referee chooses not to award a late spot-kick and instead waves play on.
88'
It's all West Ham at the moment as they push as many bodies forward as possible in an attempt to find a way back into the game, but Palace are doing extremely well to sit back and keep them at bay with plenty of strong defending.
86'
What a save by Speroni! Valencia is left in acres of space 30 yards out, allowing him to fire a fantastic looping strike that almost finds the top right-hand corner of the goal but is stopped brilliantly by the Palace goalkeeper.
84'
D. Delaney gets yellow.
A poor challenge from Kouyate on Delaney results in an angry reaction from the Palace defender, who is then shown a yellow card for kicking the ball away in disgust.
83'
J. Ledley enters the game and replaces Y. Bolasie.
Downing hits the side-netting! The resulting corner is taken quickly and played back to the midfielder, who then fires a great low shot that ends up missing the near post by a few agonising inches.
Palace have made their final substitution of the game, with Ledley coming on to replace Bolasie.
82'
What a chance for Jenkinson! Noble sends a brilliant through ball into the path of the right-back, who beats Bolasie with ease before unleashing a low shot that Speroni does well to save.
80'
And now Sakho goes close! Nene picks out Jenkinson once again, with the defender then darting towards the byline. He fizzes a fierce low cross towards the edge of the six-yard box, where it meets the Senegalese striker, but the pace on the ball means that his attempted header clears the top of the crossbar.
Minute
Description
79'
Palace are able to deal with the initial danger well, but the ball is cleared only as far as Jenkinson. The right-back sprints down the wing before curling a cross towards the back post, but it's overhit and fails to find a West Ham shirt in front of goal.
78'
Valencia and Downing link up well again, with the Ecuadorian setting up the latter before the midfielder fires a low cross off Kelly and out for a corner.
76'
E. Valencia has scored a goal for West Ham United! Assist by S. Downing.
GOAL! West Ham have pulled one back! Downing receives the ball on the edge of the Palace penalty area, and he does well to turn and pick out the Ecuadorian, who is completely unmarked 20 yards out. Under no pressure whatsoever, he is able to set himself up before firing a great strike that hits the inside of the far post before flying into the back of the net. Game on!
75'
Great play by Sakho! The Senegalese striker muscles his way past two Palace defenders before firing a low shot towards goal, but McArthur does well to jump in front of the strike to deflect it out of play for a corner, which the visitors then deal with comfortably.
74'
Downing twists and turns on the right flank before sending a deep cross towards the back post. Both Valencia and Sakho go for it but are unable to make contact with the ball, and, as a result, Speroni is able to watch the attempted pass sail safely out of play for a goal kick.
72'
Shola Ameobi enters the game and replaces W. Zaha.
Palace have decided to make their second change of the afternoon, with Ameobi coming on to take the place of Zaha.
71'
A West Ham attack breaks down, allowing Palace to embark on a counter attack of their own. Zaha bursts forward into the penalty area but holds onto the ball for too long, and Reid is eventually able to dispossess him near the byline before he's able to get a cross away.
69'
G. Murray gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD! After scoring two goals, Murray now has a dismissal to add to his name after clattering into Reid inside the West Ham penalty area. He left the referee with no choice but to reach to his pocket, and an afternoon that looked as if it was going to be remembered as a fantastic one by the striker ends in disappointing fashion.
67'
Nene hits the woodwork! Jenkinson plays a lovely one-two with Downing on the right wing before cutting the ball back to the Brazilian, who sets himself up before unleashing a great shot that beats Speroni before ricocheting off the post.
65'
E. Valencia gets yellow.
Valencia becomes the latest West Ham player to earn himself a yellow card after bringing down Puncheon from behind near the halfway line, denying the midfielder the opportunity to kick-start a Palace counter attack.
63'
G. Murray has scored a goal for Crystal Palace! Assist by J. Puncheon.
GOAL! And now it's 3-0! A delightful curling cross is flung into the box by Puncheon and Murray is able to meet it with a great diving header on the edge of the six-yard box, sending the ball flying past the outstretched hands of Adrian. Palace are on fire!
62'
Palace break away quickly once again, with a great pass from Puncheon finding Murray on the edge of the penalty area. The striker holds up the ball well and forces Kouyate into bringing him down just outside the box, resulting in a free kick for the visitors.
61'
Nenê enters the game and replaces A. Song.
West Ham have decided to make their first substitution of the game, and it's an attacking one, with new signing Nene coming on to take the place of Song, who has had a miserable afternoon.
60'
And now Zaha is brought down, with Sakho forced into tripping him over near the corner flag on the right wing after being beaten by the Palace winger's superior pace. The resulting set-piece is poor, however, and fails to cause the hosts any problems.

56'
Song completely goes to sleep, allowing Ward to burst past him with ease before the right-back is eventually clattered to the ground by Noble 25 yards out, resulting in a free kick for Palace.
54'
The resulting set-piece is poor, as Noble's attempted cross is completely overhit and flies well over the top of the crossbar.
53'
J. Ward gets yellow.
It's end-to-end stuff! A Palace attack breaks down, allowing West Ham to break away on one of their own. Valencia skips past Ward before heading towards the left-hand side of the penalty area, but just as he's about to enter the box he's pulled down from behind by Ward, resulting in a free kick for the hosts and a yellow card for the right-back.
51'
S. Dann has scored a goal for Crystal Palace! Assist by J. Puncheon.
GOAL! It's 2-0 to Palace! The corner finds Dann again, this time at the back post, and the centre-back is easily able to rise above Reid before sending a great header past Adrian and into the back of the net.
50'

48'
Bolasie breaks away down the left flank, using his superior pace to beat Jenkinson, but his attempted cross is poor and flies harmlessly out of play for a goal kick.
46'
And we're underway once again!
45' +1
The resulting set-piece bounces around the West Ham penalty area before falling at the feet of McArthur, but the substitute's low strike from 20 yards out is blocked well by Tomkins.
45'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be one minute of added time.
44'
Palace are on the move once again! This time it's Zaha who breaks away quickly, beating Cresswell on the right-hand side of the penalty area before forcing Reid into heading his attemped cross out of play for another corner.
43'
Song sprints forward before sending a low pass into the path of Sakho. He turns before teeing up Valencia with a first-time through ball, but Ward reads the attempted pass well and is able to cut it out before clearing the danger.
41'
G. Murray has scored a goal for Crystal Palace! Assist by J. Puncheon.
GOAL! Palace have taken the lead! The visitors earn themselves a corner, which is then sent into the heart of the box by Puncheon. It finds the head of Murray, who sends a half-hearted header down into the ground, and somehow Cresswell completely miskicks his attempted clearance, sending the ball spinning past Adrian and into the back of the net.
39'
Murray again! Once more, Puncheon and the striker link up extremely well, with the latter beating Tomkins on the edge of the box before forcing Adrian into pulling off another good save with his feet.
37'
It's all happening inside the West Ham penalty area! A Palace corner causes all sorts of trouble for the hosts, bouncing around the box before finally dropping to Kelly at the near post. He sends a chipped pass across goal towards Murray, who then goes down under a challenge from Jenkinson, but the referee ignores his pleas for a penalty and allows play to go on.
35'
Nervy moments for Murray! The striker, who has already been booked, brings Kouyate down from behind with a poor challenge, resulting in calls from the West Ham players for a red card. The referee decides not to, however, and instead just gives the Palace man a stern talking to.
33'
J. McArthur enters the game and replaces J. Mutch.
Mutch seems to have picked up a nasty-looking injury, and he's forced off the pitch to be replaced by McArthur.
32'
And now Murray goes close! Palace break away quickly from the restart, with Puncheon embarking on a marauding run forward. Once again, he sets up his fellow midfielder with a good through-ball, but the striker's low shot is saved well by the feet of Adrian.
31'
Fantastic chance for Valencia! Downing skips past Kelly twice before sending a dangerous deep cross towards the back post. It meets the head of the Ecuadorian, but his effort ends up missing its intended target by a few agonising inches.
30'
Again, the corner is poor and the Palace defence are able to deal with the initial danger. It's only cleared as far as Noble, however, but the captain's strike is woeful and harmlessly bounces out for a Palace throw-in near the corner flag on the left flank.
29'
Great play again from Sakho! The Senegalese striker breaks away quickly before firing a fierce strike from 30 yards out that takes a wicked deflection and flies out for yet another West Ham corner.
28'
After being pushed back by the Palace midfield, Downing receives the ball in acres of space in the middle of the pitch. He skips past Mutch before trying to play a chipped pass towards Sakho, but it's poorly hit and bounces out of play for a goal kick.
27'
Good play on the right flank from Sakho results in a corner for West Ham, but the hosts are unable to make it count and Palace deal with the danger well, firing the ball back towards the halfway line.
25'
Great chance for Palace! The visitors break away on a quick counter attack, with Puncheon bursting forward into the West Ham half of the pitch. He then tees up Murray with a well-weighted through ball, but the latter can only fire his first-time shot a few yards wide of the near post after being nudged off-balance by Reid at the vital moment.
23'
G. Murray gets yellow.
Murray flies into Kouyate and brings the West Ham midfielder down with a poorly-timed high challenge, resulting in the first yellow card of the game.
22'
Cresswell and Song link up on the left flank before the latter sends a low pass into the path of Valencia, but the striker is unable to control the ball, allowing Delaney to cut out the danger on the edge of the box.
20'
After a frantic few moments, the pace of the game has slowed down somewhat, with both sides battling for possession in the middle of the pitch.
18'
Zaha is brought down from behind by Cresswell, resulting in a free kick for Palace near the halfway line. Puncheon tries to send it long to Mutch but gets it horribly wrong, firing the ball past his fellow midfielder and out of play for a goal kick.
17'
It's all West Ham at the moment. Noble picks up the ball again before sending a lofted pass over the top of the Palace defence and into the path of Valencia, but it's slightly overhit and is easily cut out by Speroni.
15'
Noble hits the crossbar! He fires an excellent strike from the free kick that beats Speroni before ricocheting off the crossbar and out of play. What a goal that would have been!
14'
West Ham patiently pass the ball around just outside of the Palace penalty area, with Valencia and Sakho linking up particularly well. The ball eventually finds its way into the feet of Noble, who is then chopped down by a poor challenge from Puncheon just a few yards outside of the box.
13'
What a strike by Cresswell! A poor pass from Puncheon gives the ball away in a dangerous position, allowing the West Ham left-back to push forward down the wing before unleashing a brilliant shot that curls just over the top of the crossbar.
12'
Tomkins is brought down by Bolasie, and West Ham are awarded a free kick just inside their own half of the pitch as a result. The defender fires it into the Palace box, but the hosts are just about able to deal with the danger.
10'
Bolasie holds the ball up well on the edge of the West Ham penalty area before twisting and teeing up Puncheon, but the midfielder's low cross is poorly hit and easily dealt with by Reid, who then thumps the ball back towards the halfway line.
9'
The resulting set-piece is sent deep towards the far post where it finds the head of Dann, but the centre-back's looping header fails to trouble Adrian and flies over the top of the crossbar.
8'
Kelly embarks on a marauding run forward towards the left-hand side of the West Ham penalty area before eventually firing a low cross off Noble and out for another corner.
6'
The free kick is whipped towards the near post by Noble, but Murray does well to head it out of play for a corner. The resulting set-piece is then sent towards a similar position, but this time it's Speroni who rises high to cut out the danger.
5'
Valencia and Ward battle for the ball near the corner flag on the left flank, with the Ecuadorian twisting and turning before he's eventually brought down by the Palace defender, resulting in a free kick for the hosts.
3'
And now Bolasie sprints down the left wing before earning the visitors an early corner. It's sent out to Mutch on the edge of the box, taking the West Ham defence completely by surprise, but the midfielder's attempted header towards the penalty spot is comfortably dealt with by the hosts.
2'
Cresswell immediately bursts down the left flank before trying to square the ball to Sakho, but it's hit slightly behind the Senegalese striker and can only find Delaney on the edge of the penalty area.
1'
And we're off! West Ham get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today's Premier League clash between West Ham United and Crystal Palace. My name is Ben Cullimore and I will be keeping you up to date with all of the action from Upton Park.
It's been a tough month for West Ham, who head into this afternoon's game without a win in their last four Premier League clashes. Whilst only one of those - last month's 2-0 defeat away to Liverpool - ended in a loss for the east London club, their inability to find an 11th victory of the season is slowly but surely damaging their chances of qualifying for the Europa League. Seven points now separate themselves and fifth-place Southampton, whilst ninth-place Swansea City, who are in action against Burnley later today, sit just two points behind Sam Allardyce's men after their brilliant win against Manchester United last weekend.
There's just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let's have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon...
West Ham United XI (4-1-2-1-2): Adrian; Jenkinson, Reid, Tomkins, Cresswell; Song; Kouyate, Noble; Downing; Valencia, Sakho.
West Ham United substitutes: Jaaskelainen, Collins, O'Brien, Demel, Nolan, Jarvis, Nene.
Sam Allardyce has named an unchanged West Ham side to the one that started against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, but there is a space on the substitutes' bench for new signing Nene, who is available for the first time since his move from Al-Gharafa earlier in the month.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
As for Palace, they have looked far better under the tutelage of new manager Alan Pardew, who has guided his side to three victories in their last six games. Despite last weekend's tough clash away to Arsenal ending in a 2-1 defeat, the Eagles currently lie in 13th place in the table, five points clear of the relegation zone and with a good chance to pick up much-needed points against a deflated West Ham team. A win will also temporarily move them above 12th-place Everton, who face a difficult trip to the Emirates Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
Meanwhile, Palace boss Alan Pardew has decided to make four alterations to the side that started against Arsenal last week, with Martin Kelly, Mile Jedinak, Glenn Murray and Yannick Bolasie returning to the squad to replace Pape Souare, Joe Ledley, Dwight Gayle and Fraizer Campbell, respectively.
HALF-TIME: WEST HAM UNITED 0-1 CRYSTAL PALACE
It was a great start to the game from West Ham, who easily looked the better of the two sides in the opening moments, but Palace slowly but surely started to impress and, as a result, they head into the half-time break with a well-deserved one-goal lead. Despite there being an element of luck about Murray's successful header, the goal was certainly coming, as the visitors had put the Hammers under plenty of pressure in the previous 10 minutes, with the hosts finding it incredibly difficult to find a way out of their own half of the pitch.
The two teams are making their way back out onto the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: WEST HAM UNITED 1-3 CRYSTAL PALACE
What a win that is for Palace, who thoroughly deserve all three points. Alan Pardew's side were excellent at both ends of the pitch, with Puncheon and Murray constantly causing the hosts a plethora of problems in front of goal. Even after the aforementioned striker's sending off, the visitors looked incredibly impressive, making sure that they were constantly compact and well-disciplined as West Ham desperately pushed forward in an attempt to find a way back into the game.
The victory temporarily moves Palace up to 12th place in the table, two points ahead of Everton, whilst West Ham, who are now without a win in their last five Premier League games, stay in eighth place, just marginally in front of Swansea.
My name is Ben Cullimore and it's been an absolute pleasure describing all of the action to you today. Until next time, goodbye!
