Mourinho is complaining that the whistle is yet to go!
Chelsea break and Willian closes Mignolet, who somehow kicks the ball out for a corner. The referee blows his whistle, though! It's all over!
90' +5
Filipe Luís enters the game and replaces E. Hazard.
Another change for Chelsea, now, as Hazard comes off for Filipe Luis. Mourinho just winding down the clock now.
90' +4
T. Courtois gets yellow.
Courtois has been shown a yellow card for wasting time while taking his goal kick!
90' +3
Lambert is released down the channel but the pass from Allen is too strong and it sends him down to the byline. He stands a cross up at the back post but it is too high for Sterling, who recycles the ball. A delivery is eventually sent in courtesy of Moreno but Borini's header sails over the top.
90' +2
Johnson attempts to spin Azpilicueta and beat the Spaniard to the byline, but the Chelsea left-back defends brilliantly, blocking him off and taking nothing but the ball.
90' +1
We are into the first of an additional FIVE minutes. Yes, five!
90'
D. Drogba enters the game and replaces Diego Costa.
Costa walks off the pitch, and it looks like that will be the end of his afternoon. Drogba comes on to replace the scorer of the second goal.
89'
Oscar kicks the ball out of play as Costa stays down following another coming together with Skrtel. The home fans aren't pleased, but the medical staff are on to tend to the striker.
88'
PENALTY CLAIM FOR LIVERPOOL! Gerrard has a pop from 20 yards which is blocked by a diving Cahill. The Liverpool captain remonstrates with the referee, claiming it was a handball by the Chelsea centre-back. Nothing is given, but it certainly could have been awarded on another day.
87'
Diego Costa gets yellow.
Chelsea manage to win the ball down near the corner flag as Lambert stumbles when looking to latch onto a pass. The Blues look to counter but Azpilicueta gives the ball straight to Johnson, so Costa slides in with a rather poor challenge that earns him a booking.
Minute
Description
85'
There is not enough movement from Liverpool in the final third, so they keep shifting the ball across the halfway line without much penetration being offered. They need to step it up now, as there are only five minutes remaining.
83'
Oscar gets yellow.
Oscar is the next player into the book for a clumsy, rather cynical challenge. Gerrard bends the free kick in from deep but the referee spots a foul in the box by Skrtel.
82'
Good defending from Skrtel! Costa is left in space on the right and upon receiving the ball he drives to the byline. Hazard makes a near-post run and the striker picks him out. Skrtel tracks him, though, sliding in and deflecting the ball off the Belgian and out for a goal kick.
81'
The Blues fail to make the most of a chance to get the ball down the other end, as a free kick near the halfway line is taken short and lost in a matter of seconds! Liverpool come forward again.
80'
With 10 minutes to go Chelsea are struggling to get out of their own half. Options are limited when they look to get forward as they don't want to be caught short defensively.
79'
R. Lambert enters the game and replaces M. Balotelli.
Here is the change, then. Not a poor performance by any means from Balotelli, who has worked hard for his side today. His replacement is another player searching for his first Premier League goal for Liverpool!
78'
Lambert is being prepared on the touchline, and he will presumably replace Balotelli. The Italian has gone quiet after a bright start to proceedings.
77'
Allen has been very lively since coming on, and again he causes Chelsea some problems over on the left. This time he uses the space he creates to tee up Gerrard for a shot from 25 yards, but Terry rushes out to close it down and make a vital block.
75'
CHANCE! Allen makes a great run from the inside down to the left corner and is picked out. He then curls a cross to the back post for Henderson, whose volley takes a wicked deflection off Matic. Unlike Can's goal, though, it doesn't end up in the net, instead going out for a corner.
73'
Henderson pulls out wide on the right and he drives a cross in towards the near post. Terry is first to it, though, making a block before sending the ball away from his goal.
72'
The Blues will likely look to sit back and protect this lead for the remaining 20 minutes or so, now.
70'
F. Borini enters the game and replaces Philippe Coutinho.
J. Allen enters the game and replaces E. Can.
A pair of changes from Rodgers, as Borini and Allen come on for Coutinho and Can. Will they be able to spark the Reds back onto level terms?
69'
N. Matić gets yellow.
Chelsea are good value for that goal, as they have been far more positive than their opponents since the break. Liverpool do respond quickly, with Johnson coming inside from the right before being felled by Matic. The tackle earns the Serbian a yellow card.
67'
Diego Costa has scored a goal for Chelsea!
GOOOOOOOAAALL! CHELSEA LEAD THROUGH COSTA! Willian picks out Azpilicueta on the left with a lovely, raking pass. The left-back beats Coutinho and races into the box, stabbing the ball into the middle with the outside of his boot. Mignolet and Moreno both get touches but they can't stop it reaching Costa, who rifles a low shot into the net!
66'
Fabregas stands it up at the back post and Liverpool manage to head it away. The Blues keep it alive through Matic but they fail to put another cross into the box soon after.
65'
M. Balotelli gets yellow.
Balotelli is the next player to go into the book for an off-the-ball shove on Oscar, just outside the box on the near side. Fabregas stands over it once more...
64'
The Serbian right-back is finally able to receive treatment and he returns to the pitch moments after play restarts!
62'
Ivanovic stays down after challenging Moreno to a header, but the ball is not put out of play, with Cahill hooking it forward rather than kicking it into touch. The Reds subsequently continued but Balotelli was offside from Sterling's pass!
60'
For large periods of the first half Chelsea sat back and absorbed pressure, while struggling to forge anything in the opposing half. The is how Liverpool have played since the break, and the tempo of the game is now starting to slow.
59'
Hazard gets back to help mop up at the back as Johnson attempts to bring down Gerrard's excellent pass from inside the centre circle. The Belgian then takes a slight risk by looking to beat Coutinho just outside his own box, but he draws a foul to earn his side a free kick.
57'
Costa shows great strength on the right to hold off Lovren before spinning the Croatian and running towards the box. He is forced down the line by the covering defender and thus passes back to Willian. The Brazilian immediately bears down on goal, cutting inside and back out before seeing his shot get blocked!
55'
A long clearance up from the back is allowed to bounce by the Liverpool defence, and Oscar looks to capitalise. He pokes the ball away from Lovren but Moreno recovers to hook it clear.
54'
Willian enters the game and replaces Ramires.
Mourinho makes his first change of the game with Willian coming on in place of Ramires. A positive swap from the Portuguese.
53'
GOOD SAVE! Liverpool finally work Courtois in this half as Sterling comes inside from the left, shifting the ball away from Ivanovic and lashing a shot at goal. It looks to be heading for the corner but the keeper gets down and parries it aside. Chelsea then counter through Hazard but the Belgian's effort is deflected out for a corner by Gerrard.
51'
COSTA! Oscar lifts a lovely pass over the defence which the Reds fail to deal with. Costa attempts to punish them with an acrobatic overhead kick that flies just over the top of goal. Moreno had a firm grip on his shirt there and his compatriot now has a gaping hole on his back!
50'
Chelsea have started the second half brightly, with some particularly impressive link-up play on the left between Azpilicueta, Hazard and Oscar. The trio combine again, with the latter cutting onto his right foot and bending a shot harmlessly wide of the far post.
49'
Ivanovic picks up the ball on the edge of the box but doesn't quite know what to do with it and is quickly dispossessed. He grabs a hold of Sterling's shirt to stop him latching onto a pass and catching his team short, earning himself a yellow card.
48'
B. Ivanović gets yellow.
Some sustained pressure from Chelsea sees them win a corner. Fabregas whips it in from the left but his delivery is poor, and Balotelli clears it at the near post.
47'
Matic plays a pass down the left-hand channel, looking for Costa, but Skrtel is across to it first in order to hook it out for a throw in.
46'
We are back underway at Anfield!
45' +1
There is the half-time whistle!
45'
There will be just one minute of added time at the end of this half.
44'
Fabregas floats the free kick towards the far post but Lovren rises highest to head it away from danger. Johnson looks to ignite a counterattack by switching the play to Sterling, and the England international is held up by Fabregas before drawing a foul.
43'
R. Sterling gets yellow.
Livepool are being penned back by Chelsea here, and Sterling goes into the book for blocking off Ramires as the Brazilian attempted a one-two with Matic. A free kick in a dangerous area for the Blues now, then.
41'
HAZARD! The Belgian waits for a space to open up just outside the box before looking to curl a shot across goal and inside the bottom corner. Mignolet gets down to it, keeping hold of the ball with Oscar chasing in to pounce on any potential spill.
40'
Ivanovic bulldozes his way into the area, along the byline on the near side. He steams through a weak challenge from Moreno and then blocks Gerrard's clearance, but the ricochet is held by Mignolet at the near post!
39'
The game is becoming quite stretched as we approach half time! Is there going to be another goal before the interval?
37'
Chelsea push a few more men forward and look to capitalise on this spell of pressure, but they nearly leave themselves short moments later. Sterling breaks away down the left and squares a lovely cross into the middle, which Balotelli is too late to connect with.
36'
Liverpool are opened up by another incisive Chelsea break, with Oscar releasing Ramires with a lovely pass, and his cutback rolls across to Hazard on the far side. He attempts to place a shot into the corner but again Johnson is in the way!
35'
Things are getting quite heated between Skrtel and Costa! They've had a couple of collisions in the last few moments but it seems like healthy competition.
34'
Important block from Johnson, stopping Hazard's shot, following a quick Chelsea break, from worrying Mignolet in goal. The visitors fail to make the most of their subsequent corner, though.
32'
Nervy stuff from Mignolet! The keeper comes outside the left side of his box and produces a woeful kick that is controlled by Fabregas just outside the centre circle. Before he can do anything with it, though, Can gets his foot to the ball, sending it back towards goal. Costa, coming back from behind the defence, is subsequently flagged offside incorrectly, but it's a Liverpool free kick.
31'
The visitors have every man behind the ball, making the centre of their half very congested. Liverpool are thus to look to the wide areas where Sterling is found, but his cross evades its intended target of Balotelli at the back post.
29'
Costa manages to hold off a couple of red shirts to fire an effort at goal from the left side of the box. It takes a touch off Skrtel and goes out for a corner, which Terry gets his head to at the back post once more. He fails to pick out a team-mate with his cushioned header, though.
28'
The Blues are struggling to hold onto the ball inside the opposition half, and Ramires shows too much of it to Moreno, who makes a neat tackle. The loose ball falls to Sterling and he races forward before attempting to curl a pass in behind the defence for Balotelli, but the Italian doesn't make the right run to latch onto it.
26'
Coutinho picks up the ball inside his own half, darting past both Matic and Fabregas as he bears down on goal. He lets fly with a low effort from 20 yards out and Courtois is unable to keep hold of it. Ivanovic is first to the rebound, though, and he removes the threat.
25'
Hazard dribbles down the left wing but he only has Costa up in support with him. The Chelsea players are outnumbered but Johnson races back and shoves the Belgian from behind, conceding a free kick. That was rather unnecessary!
24'
The Reds have had an impressive 63% possession so far this afternoon, with Chelsea happy to sit back and look to stretch them on the counterattack.
22'
Cahill hoofs the ball clear from the edge of the Chelsea box and Costa races Skrtel to get on the end of it. He pushes the defender in the back as they approach the edge of the box, and the referee awards a free kick. The Spain international then provokes his opponent with a few words afterwards, but the official cools the tempers with stern words for both.
21'
PENALTY CLAIM?! The corner is only cleared as far as Sterling on the edge of the box, and the England international smashes an effort straight into the ground. Cahill stoops down to block it, sending it behind for a corner with what looked to be his shoulder. The players look to the referee, but only another corner is given.
20'
Chelsea are sitting very deep at the moment so Johnson pushes forward to offer some width on the right. He receives a pass from Henderson and his cross goes out for a corner following an interception from Azpilicueta.
19'
It's in the back of the net, but the goal is ruled out! The referee played the advantage as Coutinho shimmied away from a strong challenge courtesy of Ramires, but the Italian was in an offside position as he swept home his team-mate's pass!
18'
Balotelli attempts to spin away from Matic on the near side but Ramires comes back to help his team-mate and catches the striker on the foot. He limps away from the challenge and the referee awards a free kick to the hosts.
16'
Hazard comes inside from the right, getting the ball onto his left foot and then looking to sneak a shot from 20 yards inside Mignolet's near post. He doesn't quite hit the target, though, and the effort skids wide of the target.
14'
G. Cahill has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by N. Matić.
GOOOOOOOAAAL!! The corner is met at the back post by Costa, and his flick-on is nodded in on target by Terry. Mignolet dives to his right to make a great save but, following a small touch from Matic, Cahill is first on the scene to fire a shot at goal on the follow-up. The keeper gets in the way of it but cannot stop the ball going just beyond the line, and after a check of his wristband the referee awards the goal! It's all square!
13'
Chelsea win a corner as Ivanovic pushes forward before rolling a pass down the line for Hazard. Sterling is back helping out, though, and he sends it out for a corner kick!
11'
Azpilicueta is allowed to stride forward down the left flank and he decides to slip a pass inside for Oscar. The Brazilian looks to angle a first-time pass into the path of Hazard, but he overhits the pass and it runs out of play for a goal kick.
10'
That strike now means that over 50 per cent of the goals that Chelsea have conceded in the Premier League this season have come inside the opening 15 minutes! Mourinho won't be happy with such a statistic.
9'
E. Can has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by R. Sterling.
GOOOOOOOOAAAL!! CAN OPENS THE SCORING! Again the midfielder is given time to have a go at goal, and once more his effort is deflected. This time it hits Cahill, though, and the touch wrongfoots Courtois, allowing the ball to sail into the back of the net! What a start for the German!
7'
Henderson plays a short pass to Balotelli and Matic steals in and surges up the other end. He keeps the ball superbly before laying it off to Hazard on the left win in Liverpool's half. The Belgian is unable to get the better of Can, though, and the former Bayer Leverkusen man halts any hopes of an attack for the Blues.
6'
Balotelli controls the ball exquisitely inside the box and then bides his time, waiting for options to arrive before deciding what to do with the ball. He opts to chip a cross towards the back post which Terry gets to first and heads away. The former AC Milan man is showing great movement early on, though.
5'
Liverpool look to slow the tempo of the game, but Skrtel is not left with many options in midfield as he brings the ball up to the halfway line. Instead, he clips a long pass, looking for Balotelli, and the Italian is adjudged offside.
3'
Hazard drives forward, looking to scythe through the heart of the Liverpool defence. He attempts to lay a neat pass off for Costa to his right, but Lovren steps up to make a crucial interception and clear away the danger.
2'
Gerrard whips a free kick into the box and Can gets his head on it, but fails to keep it travelling goalwards. His touch loops back to Coutinho on the edge of the box and the Brazilian connects hastily with a volley that is held with ease by Courtois.
1'
We are off!
JUST WIDE! Can picks up the ball in midfield and is allowed to carry it towards goal. He has a pop from 25 yards and a deflection off Terry sees the ball loop up and drop just outside of Courtois' right-hand post! The corner is whipped into the box and the keeper comes out to claim it confidently.
Hello and welcome to this LIVE coverage of the Premier League meeting between Liverpool and Chelsea! It's still early in the season, but any encounter involving these two teams brings plenty of pressure and expectations. My name is Tom Webber, and I will be guiding you through all the action.
When Chelsea last visited Anfield, a costly slip from Steven Gerrard allowed Demba Ba in to score as the Reds succumbed to a 2-0 defeat which effectively ended their title charge. This time around the stakes aren’t quite as high, but with 12 points separating Liverpool from the Blues it is a game they can not afford to lose.
LIVERPOOL TEAM NEWS: Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling and Mario Balotelli are all recalled to the starting line-up, with the latter pair expected to form a partnership in attack. Daniel Sturridge is unavailable to face his former club as he continues to recover from injury.
CHELSEA TEAM NEWS: Jose Mourinho also rested players in midweek, so Diego Costa, Oscar, Gary Cahill and Thibaut Courtois all return. The only changes from last weekend's win over Queens Park Rangers, though, see Cesar Azpilicueta return from suspension to replace Filipe Luis, and Ramires come in for his compatriot Willian.
Chelsea substitutes: Cech, Zouma, Filipe, Mikel, Willian, Remy, Drogba.
Brendan Rodgers made the bold decision to rest a number of his star players for the Champions League visit to Real Madrid in midweek, and following a 1-0 defeat in that game the pressure is really on him to get a positive result this afternoon. Of those introduced for the meeting with los Blancos, only Emre Can retains his place today.
Chelsea remain the only unbeaten side in the Premier League this season, dropping just four points from their opening 10 games. Liverpool, conversely, have been victorious in just two of their previous seven league outings. The Reds will need to be at their best today if they are to halt the blistering start Mourinho's men have had to the campaign.
Rodgers' side will surely be out for revenge, given last season's result, today. The fact that Chelsea effectively ended their challenge for the league title last season could provide extra motivation for the hosts today. How they would love to see Balotelli help the cause by netting his first Premier League goal for the club this afternoon!
Chelsea have lost just one of their previous six games against Liverpool in all competitions, with Rodgers yet to pick up a win against his former employers. We have just over five minutes remaining until kick off!
The teams are out on the pitch and the pre-match handshakes have been conducted. Now the crowd join together to sing a rendition of 'You'll never walk alone'.
There will be one minute's silence before kick off, as is custom ahead of Remembrance Day.
Impeccably observed! Now, it's time to get this match underway!
HALF TIME - Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea: The hosts got off to a great start as Can's deflected shot got the better of Courtois with just nine minutes on the clock, but their lead only lasted five minutes as Cahill's effort from a corner snuck over the line. There has been plenty of action so far, and we can expect more to come in the second half with the three points still very much up for grabs.
There was a confrontation between Skrtel and Costa as the players headed down the tunnel, there, with their team-mates having to intervene to stop things getting out of hand. It will be interesting to see how that develops after the break!
Welcome back! We've got just a few minutes to go until the second half commences, with what is set to be another enthralling 45 minutes.
FULL TIME - Liverpool 1-2 Chelsea: The Reds took the lead early on through Can but Cahill soon brought Mourinho's men back on level terms. The visitors pushed on and were far more convincing after the break, and they found the winning goal through Costa! The Blues remain unbeaten after 11 games this season.
Chelsea are temporarily seven points clear at the top now, while Liverpool could drop into the bottom half by the end of the weekend. That is all we have time for today. Thanks for joining me, Tom Webber. It's been great!
